Based on Pygmalion, George Bernard Shaw's scathing satire of the British upper class, My Fair Lady tells the story of master linguist Henry Higgins' successful effort to transform Eliza Doolittle, an ordinary flower girl, in to a lady by teaching her to speak properly.
